Baffle sealing to engine w RTV

Anyone have any good tips on installing the engine baffling and sealing the gaps to the engine with the Red RTV?

I always liked using the large McDonald’s straws to get into the hard-to-reach spots. That’s assuming you live in a free state that hasn’t banned them.

Yep. Use a good strong tape like Gorilla tape. Otherwise the pressure inside will shoot the straw off and make quite a mess.

Do you think it’s better to try to install the baffling on the engine and seal it while it’s bolted to a pallet before I sling it over into the cradle?
