Usually a broken or weak spiral spring inside the speedbrake. I went through this with a Mooney. The speedbrakes are incredibly simple to take apart. Bob, probably the best place is . However, I think phpbb can host large files, but it won’t be as searchable. Another way we could host is Stickie threads for each of the model sub threads. We’re open to other suggestions as needed.

Chris, this is great information. I really like how you back your experiments with data. That takes the guesswork out of proposed solutions.

My tach sender is going out. I have Bendix mags and hear that the UMA 10-02433 sender is the one to get. Looking at Aircraft Spruce, they only offer the TSO version. Is there a version for Experimentals? If not, I'll pay the $142. Is there a better place to order from?
